But when your website is a primary channel for answering questions and explaining complex information, it has to be easy to keep accurate, accessible and clear.

We partnered with Railpen to redevelop and replatform Railpen.com on Umbraco 17 - delivering a modern, high-performing website refresh that gives their team more control over day-to-day publishing and helps members find what they need faster.

The Challenge

Publishing constraints and growing complexity

Railpen’s existing website had become difficult to manage day to day. The CMS limited how quickly and confidently the team could update pages, structure information, and reuse content, meaning even straightforward changes could feel time-consuming and constrained.

As the site grew, content was harder to keep consistent and clearly presented, which risked diluting key messages and making it more difficult for members to find what they needed.

Railpen needed a redevelopment that removed these constraints - giving the web team more flexibility and control, and improving clarity across the member journey.

We redeveloped Railpen’s site on Umbraco 17 to remove day-to-day publishing constraints and improve content clarity across the member journey.
