Redpath is an established building contractor based in Glasgow with clients across Central Scotland.
With an ageing website that was extremely difficult to keep updated, Redpath needed a CMS that would remove this pain-point and a site that would promote all the great work they deliver.
The Redpath website is a key part of their marketing strategy, directing potential clients and design team members towards it to strengthen their positioning as one of Scotland's leading contractors.
The content on the existing Redpath website was out of date and adding new content had become a slow process.
The new website was simple to update and allowed focus on specific projects and project wins and perfect for referring potential clients and design team partners to.
Projects are clearly split into project sectors, with informative case studies attached to each.
This means they can present a convincing and extremely strong body of work behind whatever new piece of business they are going for.
We recommended the Umbraco CMS as the content management system on this project.
Umbraco is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. With very little training the Redpath team were able to easily edit content, add projects and create news stories.
With editing time kept to a minimum, the team can then focus on other marketing tasks, whilst continually referring customers back to projects on their website.
A major driver behind the design and development of the new website was to ensure that the user experience was as smooth as possible across multiple devices.
We work hard at ensuring the websites we build load as quickly as possible.
This has benefits not only for Google and other search engine ranking, but also has a subconscious effect on user perception. Half a second additional load time can really make a difference.
Given the highly visual nature of the Redpath site, we’re particularly pleased with how quickly it loads.
